Too few feeder cattle from two weeks ago to compare to today's offering and develop an accurate price trend. A large offering of many packages and loads today with cattle suitable for backgrounding or grass seeing the best demand and mostly good demand on finishing type cattle depending on flesh condition. Flesh varied, from moderate to heavy with some fill on the cattle at times. Both home raised and backgrounded cattle on offer, quality mostly average to attractive. Several opportunities to buy multiple loads to fill pens that buyers took advantage of. Cattle are nice and clean as pen conditions are dry right now. A moderate to active market with best activity the first two thirds of the sale. A rocky week for the futures which ended with losses on both live and feeder cattle again today. Next feeder cattle sale is Friday, April 12.
