Compared to last week: best test on steers 850 to 999 lbs 2.00 to 5.00 lower. Heifers not well compared. Another large yearling offering this week selling mostly in loads and strings and met with moderate to good demand. A few more lot cattle this week, however, the majority of the cattle are still coming off grass. More flesh overall this week even on grass cattle. A moderate to active market with a few less buyers in the seats and this weeks' futures numbers making for a more cautious market. Rain last weekend along with this weeks' mostly cloudy weather has halted harvest for the most part. Next feeder cattle sale is Friday, October 6.
