Compared to last week: best test on steers 800 to 999 lbs steady to 4.00 lower. Heifers not well compared again this week. Good to very good demand for yearlings this week. Loads and strings made up the majority of this offering with all the cattle coming off grass. Flesh similar to last week, mostly light to moderate. Many attractive quality cattle to choose from again this week, however buyers were less eager to buy multiple loads of the same cut. Market activity mostly active with the normal crowd of buyers in the seats. Rain today and expected through the weekend which could amount to several inches. Harvest has started but will be on hold if the rain accumulates. Next feeder cattle sale is Friday, September 29.
