Compared to last week: best test on steers 850 to 999 lbs mostly steady. Heifers not well compared. Good to very good demand for today's offering featuring yearlings both off grass and out of yards, however, the majority came off grass. Flesh varied on grass cattle, from light to moderate. Yard cattle mostly in moderate plus flesh. Lots of attractive cattle to choose from today, quite a few multiple load offerings, as well as single loads and packages. An active market with the usual crowd of buyers in the seats. Its still very green is this part of the country due to timely rainfall this summer. Corn silage harvest is well underway. Next feeder cattle sale is Friday, September 22.
