Compared to last week: best test on steers 900 to 1000 lbs mostly steady. Heifers not well tested last week for comparison. Good to very good demand for today's large offering which included a long string of 2200 steers off grass from one family operation, and several other strings and loads. The majority of the offering was off grass in light to moderate flesh and attractive in quality. An active market seen for this offering, however, buyers were not as eager to buy multiple loads at a time today. No moisture in the area again this week. Next feeder cattle sale is Friday, August 13.
