Compared to last week: a much smaller offering than last week with best test on steers 900 to 950 lbs steady. Heifers not well tested today for comparison. Good to very good demand seen for today's offering featuring almost all steers selling in loads, as well as one long string, with many of these off grass. Flesh mostly light to moderate with some moderate plus. Quality mostly attractive today. A couple packages of spring calves, these saw moderate to good demand. An active market seen for this offering. Temperatures have finally cooled down at the end of the week this week. Some reports of producers farther north cutting silage already. Next feeder cattle sale is Friday, August 6.
