Compared to last week: best test on steers 900 to 1000 lbs 1.00 to 3.00 higher. Heifers not well tested for comparison today. Good to very good demand for today's yearling offering which included one long string of steers off grass and a couple loads and packages, most of these off grass as well. Quality varied more than last week, the string was mostly attractive, the loads and packages more plain to average in quality. Flesh mostly light to moderate overall. An active market on today's offering with a more limited crowd of buyers attending the auction today. Next feeder cattle sale is Friday, August 28.
