Compared to last week: best test on steers 800 to 850 lbs 1.00 to 2.00 higher, 900 to 1000 lbs 8.00 to 10.00 higher, other weight classes of steers and heifers not well compared today. Good to very good demand for this large offering featuring mostly loads and strings of cattle off grass. Flesh was very attractive with most of the cattle in light to moderate flesh. Quality mostly average to attractive today. An active market with many buyers attending the auction and often times taking advantage of the many opportunities offered today to purchase multiple loads of the same man's cattle to fill pens. Next feeder cattle sale is Friday, August 21, including a special Holstein sale.
