This week's sale held on Saturday due to the winter weather this week. Different weight classes of yearlings today than last week, an accurate trend could not be established. Moderate to good demand for today's yearling offering consisting of mostly strings off grass. Flesh mostly light to moderate. A moderate market seen for today's offering with the winter weather and travel conditions putting some pressure on the market. Much of North and South Dakota received snow and wind creating blizzard conditions and icy roads the past few days. These difficult conditions have pushed harvest and fall work further behind and caused much stress to producers. Big Anniversary sale next Friday, October 18, expecting 2000 head of yearlings and 2000 calves.
