Compared to last week: few weight classes with comparable sales, best test on steers 800 to 850 and 950 to 1000 lbs steady to 2.00 higher. Heifers not well compared. Good demand for packages and loads which made up today's yearling offering. Flesh and quality mostly attractive with many of the cattle coming off grass in light to moderate flesh. One package of spring calves offered and met with light demand. Calves had spring shots and were off the cow. An active market for the yearlings with good buyer attendance. A few cancellations today as wet conditions this week have made roads and yards too muddy for trucks. More wet weather in the forecast for the weekend. Next sale is next Friday, October 11, special 38th Anniversary Sale.
