Compared to two weeks ago: steer calves from 450 lbs to 499 lbs were 6.00 to 10.00 higher, steers from 500 lbs to 699 lbs were 15.00 to 20.00 higher, instances of 25.00 higher, heifer calves from 500 lbs to 599 lbs were 10.00 to 15.00 higher. No other comparisons available. No comparisons on yearlings due to limited numbers. A big run of cattle with a house full of people. Nice run of yearlings with most off grass, moderate flesh conditions, and attractive for quality. Several consignments of yearlings offered in load lots, up to 8 loads per consignment, plenty of part loads and packages available as well. An active market on the yearlings and they were met with moderate demand. Good demand and an active market for todays offering of spring born calves. Most of the calves were right off the cows, fully vaccinated and were attractive for quality. Over all there was good demand for todays offering of yearlings and calves with lots of buyer interest on the internet competing with order buyers and a few farmer feeders in the seats. A positive week for the futures market has given buyers a little more optimism than we've seen in the past few weeks. Next feeder sale is scheduled for Friday, December 12, 2025 featuring weaned calves.
