Compared to last week 400 to 600 lbs steers sold 3.00 higher, with mid 4 weights trending 10.00 higher. Heifer calves sold 3.00 to 7.00 higher. Demand was good from a large crowd of in-state and out of state buyers. Bulk of the calves had precondition shots. Several really nice packages and loads lots of top quality, thick made, Sandhills calves in the run. Light to moderate snow over the weekend took some condition off the calves Wednesday. But, on the bright side, there was some nice moisture and most weaning pens are dust free.
