Not enough yearlings for a good test. The demand is very good especially on feeder cattle that can be turned onto grass. The market continues to be active with the order buyers having plenty of orders to fill. The feeder cattle are in a attractive flesh condition for the buyers, no feeder cattle carrying to much flesh in the offering. The feeder cattle market at Stockmen's continues to move higher following the CME feeder cattle boards. The August 2025 CME Live Cattle board closed the day at 201.825, the CME feeder cattle index closed March 19 at 285.94. The Live cattle boards are lagging behind. A Colorado low brought moisture to the central plains missing North Dakota, the entire state of North Dakota is experiencing a drought. The next USDA reported sale at Stockmen's will be March 27.
