This was the first cattle sale of 2025 at Stockmen's no comparisons to make. The offering had a very small amount of feeder cattle under 400 lbs. The feeder cattle over 400 lbs. all sold with very good demand. The sale offering had a very small amount of yearling cattle. The market was active. The sale offering consisted of a large amount of weaned feeder cattle. The majority of feeder of cattle at this sale carried a attractive flesh condition, the offering consisted of a number of strings in a green flesh condition. The order buyers were aggressive from the start of the sale to finish. The Dickinson, ND area continues to stay on the dry side with no measurable moisture in many months. The next USDA reported cattle sale at Stockmen's will be 1/16/2025.
