As filed

Compared to last week: Feeder steers not well compared, much lighter offering of yearling steers this week, yearling feeder heifers mostly steady. Moderate to good demand for this lighter offering of yearlings, moderate demand for the few strings and packages of spring born calves offered. A lighter buyer attendance as well, market not quite as active as last week with fewer cattle to attract the buyers. This was the first offering of spring calves, more expected in the coming weeks. Next feeder cattle sale will be Oct. 10, expecting 2,500 feeders.
