Demand for heifers suitable to develop into replacements was very good as several ranchers were on hand actively bidding on high quality offerings. Both feeding buyers and replacement buyers competed over offerings pushing feeding heifers close to steer price in places. Demand for light weight calves was mostly good today as several buyers were active in buying steers and heifers under 450 lbs to develop into yearlings.
