Compared to last week, steers and heifers sold steady with a few spots up to 5.00 higher. A heavy supply of high quality reputation cattle was offered and demand was good to very good. Several loads of yearlings and attractive home raised grazers were on hand. Cattle futures were sharply higher Wednesday and despite the difficult weather, with high winds and some snow, it was a good day to sell cattle. Slaughter cows sold steady.
