Compared to last week, the majority of steers and heifers sold 5.00-15.00 higher with spots 20.00 higher on heifer calves. There were a few weight ranges that sold steady with last weeks higher market but the overall trend was higher. Trade was active and demand was very good for an attractive offering of mostly thin fleshed, long weaned calves ready for grass and a few loads of backgrounded yearlings. Supply was moderate. Slaughter cows sold 2.00-3.00 higher.
