Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers sold steady to 4.00 higher. Steer and heifer calves sold unevenly steady from 3.00 lower to 3.00 higher. Demand was moderate and improved throughout the day. The supply was moderate with a particularly good offering of yearlings. The largest draft of the day was 60 head of 864 lbs. steers which brought 260.00/cwt. The cattle futures opened sharply lower but rebounded throughout the day.
