Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers sold 4.00-8.00 higher, steer and heifer calves sold 10.00-15.00 higher, peewee calves under 500 lbs. sold 15.00-20.00 higher. Demand was very good on a moderate supply. Warmer temperatures and sunshine have increased the demand for calves as grass is starting to green up across the Ozarks. One stick-out sale and the largest draft of the day was 271 head of 570 lb. steer calves that sold for 382.00/cwt.
