Ozarks Regional Stockyard held a special weaned and pre-vaccinated feeder sale on Friday. There were no recent specials for comparison, however compared to Tuesday's weekly auction, steer and heifer calves traded 3.00-6.00 higher. Yearling steers and heifers traded steady to 6.00 higher when compared to Tuesday's lightly tested market. Demand was very good on a moderate supply. There were several high quality drafts of pre-conditioned cattle in the offering with plenty of old and new buyers looking to give them a new home. The offering was presented in packages averaging almost 8 head/draft, with the largest draft being 154 head of seven-weight steers. The stickout draft of the day was 24 head of 907 lb. steers bringing 177.00/cwt.
