Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to the last sale two weeks ago, steers and heifers sold mostly 10.00 to 20.00 higher. Slaughter cows steady. A few extra buyers in the seats and an overall better outlook in the cattle sector boosted the market this week. Mostly smaller consignments of calves on offer with a few loads or part loads of backgrounded cattle available. Supply moderate, demand very good.
