Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to the auction from two weeks ago, steer calves under 700 lbs steady, with yearling steers over 700 lbs firm to 3.00 higher. Heifer calves under 600 lbs steady, with weights over 600 lbs mostly 3.00-5.00 higher, instances as much as 10.00 higher. Many farmers in the middle of crop harvest, but enough buyers to absorb the available offering, as it seems everyone wants to own a few cattle. Demand good and supply moderate.
