Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to the auction from 2 weeks ago, steer calves under 500 lbs firm to 5.00 higher, with weights over 500 lbs steady. Feeder heifers under 700 lbs steady, with yearlings over 700 lbs steady to 2.00 higher. Mostly calves in the offering except for about three consignments of yearling heifers. Rainy weather the past couple of days has sure been welcome, hopefully enough to regenerate the pastures a bit for some late fall grazing. Demand was good and supply moderate.
