Compared to last week, a very light test of steer calves under 700 lbs and heifers under 600 lbs were not well tested selling in small packages and singles, a light test of 7 weight steers sold with a lower undertone and a light test of 6 weight heifers sold mostly steady on a few comparable sales and quality. Slaughter cows sold firm to 2.00 higher on a nice offering. Demand was moderate on a light to moderate supply. A rough week for the equity markets as they continue to sell-off also effecting the CME cattle futures which also sold off in triple-digit losses this week as the carnivorous virus continues to grip markets with a strong hold.
