Compared to last week, steer calves weighing 400-450 lbs sold with a higher undertone on last week's light offering, with 450-650 lb steers selling fully steady to firm with a couple of spots where prices reached above last week's highs on 550-600 lb steers, 650-700 lb steers sold mostly 10.00-25.00 higher with 700-750 lbs sold with a higher undertone on last week's limited sales and two pot loads of 895 and 915 lb steers sold near 7.00 lower than last week's loads. Heifer calves weighing 400-600 lbs sold mostly 15.00-30.00 higher with heifers over 600 lbs lightly tested. Demand was good to very good on a moderate supply. The market remains extremely good on grazing cattle. Stick out sales included 75 hd steers 629 lbs at 460.00, 31 steers 667 lbs at 434.00, 51 steers 682 lbs at 420.00 with 36 heifers 534 lbs at 458.00 and 89 heifers weighing 595 lbs at 407.25. Slaughter cows sold firm to 6.00 higher, spots 10.00 higher on the high dressing cows.
