As filed

Compared to last week, a very light offering this week of steers and heifers calves with the bulk of the sales yearling steers weighing 850-900 lbs with no comparisons from last week all traded with a sharply lower undertone. Slaughter cows on a very light test sold steady. Receipts were very light due to the free-fall in the markets as producers this week are taking a wait and see attitude. The Stock Market continues to sell off with sharp losses of near 9 percent on Monday, despite the Fed stimulus efforts. CME cattle futures remain in a free fall as well following the Stock Market.
