Compared to last week, feeder steers weighing 400-700 lbs and heifers weighing 400-650 lbs sold mostly 5.00-8.00 lower, with a good test of 875-890 lbs yearling steers selling 6.00-7.00 lower and 700-750 lb heifers trading mostly 3.00 lower. Slaughter cows sold steady to firm. Demand was moderate to good with supply moderate. Last week's lower fed cattle market and with CME cattle futures continuing to trade lower the past 11 days of trading have put pressure on the feeder cattle market.
