Compared to last week steers less than 700 lbs sold 10.00 lower, over 700 lbs sold steady to 6.00 lower. Heifers less than 650 lbs sold 10.00 lower and over 650 lbs sold steady to 5.00 higher with some going back to the country for breeding. Very limited test on a true slaughter cow with the bulk of the cows going back to feed. Demand was moderate to good for calves, feeder and slaughter cattle with good demand for bred heifers and cows. Decent weather early in the week with bitter cold, arctic air mass by weeks close.
