Compared to last week, steers sold 6.00 to 15.00 lower with instances on some weight hitting a tick higher than last week. Heifers less than 550 lbs sold 10.00 to 20.00 higher. Limited test on heifer calves over 550 lbs. Slaughter cows sold 4.00 to 10.00 lower and bulls sold 6.00 lower. The most active market across the state was on bred heifers and cows. Bred heifers sold 300.00 per head more, young cows sold 600.00 per head more, solid mouth sold 200.00 per head more with the short solid mouth cows banging around steady. Demand was moderate to good for calves and slaughter cows with good, instances very good demand for bred females.
