No recent market test for calves and feeder cattle for a market comparison. Slaughter cows and bulls sold 1.00 to 4.00 higher on the week. Demand was good to instances very good for calves and feeders. Some light snow in different areas of the state but overall, most of the range lands still need a lot of spring moister to be able to run ample livestock this summer. There will be good snow runoff from high elevation so most irrigation districts will have reserve ponds full for summer needs. Some carry over on hay supplies should help out livestock owners as they work through this drought.

Head, weight ranges, average weights and price ranges are exactly as USDA AMS filed them — nothing recomputed, nothing rounded — in USDA's own reporting structure. This is RaisedBeef's rendering of that data, not a copy of USDA's document.
Source: USDA AMS, as filed — nothing recomputed and nothing rounded. This summary aggregates the same sales the Wyoming barn reports cover, so it must never be added to a state total built from those barns.
