Compared to last week steers under 600 lbs sold 6.00 to 10.00 lower over 600 lbs sold steady to 3.00 lower. Heifers under 500 lbs sold 10.00 lower, 500 to 700 lbs sold 2.00 to 3.00 higher, 700 lbs sold 10.00 higher and over 800 lbs sold steady. Slaughter cows sold steady and slaughter bulls sold 3.00 to 4.00 higher. Demand was moderate to good through out the week. Some cattlemen that usually run yearlings on grass have sold this year's supply as the market is very good, and with all the snow many fences are down from drifts, and it might take all summer to fix the fence. Some snow is melting but overall, most farming is roughly a month behind as cool temperatures prevail throughout the day. A slight warm up is needed across the state to get snow melted and green grass to grow.

Head, weight ranges, average weights and price ranges are exactly as USDA AMS filed them — nothing recomputed, nothing rounded — in USDA's own reporting structure. This is RaisedBeef's rendering of that data, not a copy of USDA's document.
Source: USDA AMS, as filed — nothing recomputed and nothing rounded. This summary aggregates the same sales the Wyoming barn reports cover, so it must never be added to a state total built from those barns.
