Reporting auctions were going to be shut down the last two weeks of December. However, bitter cold and snowy weather left saleable cattle in the auction yards at Torrington Livestock, and they had there year end sale on Monday Dec 19. Compared to the las test of the market, slaughter cows sold 1.00 to 3.00 higher and higher undertones were noted on bred females. No sales are reporting the last week of December.
