No reported sales last week for a market comparison. Demand was good for the light supply of calves and feeder cattle. Also, good demand was noted for slaughter cows and bulls. Sporadic rain showers across the state with some areas receiving flash flooding. Per the US drought monitor some areas in the central part of the state are in the normal range with several other areas improving to abnormally dry. These improvements in rain are very positive for ranchers and farmers. However, there is still a large part of the state in a moderate drought.

Head, weight ranges, average weights and price ranges are exactly as USDA AMS filed them — nothing recomputed, nothing rounded — in USDA's own reporting structure. This is RaisedBeef's rendering of that data, not a copy of USDA's document.
Source: USDA AMS, as filed — nothing recomputed and nothing rounded. This summary aggregates the same sales the Wyoming barn reports cover, so it must never be added to a state total built from those barns.
