Compared to last week steer and heifer calves sold unevenly steady. Bred heifers and cows sold steady on comparable offerings. Slaughter cows and feeding cows sold 2.00 to 3.00 lower and slaughter bulls sold steady. Shorten receipts this week due to the Thanksgiving holiday as Torrington Livestock had only a Monday sale. Quite a lot of weigh-up cows, young and old, went back to the county to be fed. Demand was good for calves, feeders and bred heifers and cows with moderate demand for slaughter cattle. Dry conditions continue to prevail across the state. Many are very hopeful that some moisture will come this fall and through the winter. Large amounts of snow pack is needed so there will be amply amounts of irrigation and drinking water for next years growing season. Wishing everyone a save and Happy Thanksgiving!!

Head, weight ranges, average weights and price ranges are exactly as USDA AMS filed them — nothing recomputed, nothing rounded — in USDA's own reporting structure. This is RaisedBeef's rendering of that data, not a copy of USDA's document.
Source: USDA AMS, as filed — nothing recomputed and nothing rounded. This summary aggregates the same sales the Wyoming barn reports cover, so it must never be added to a state total built from those barns.
