Compared to last week, steers and heifers sold unevenly steady. Demand was moderate for calves with good demand for yearling feeders off of grass. Light frost damage was noticed across the state this week from after effects from the cold snap last week. Several reports that corn fields have turned white due to frost on the green corn and tops of alfalfa plants are brown. Most hay producers continue to cut and alfalfa and are hoping for some regrowth for one more cutting before the seasons close. Farmers are hopeful the corn crop was far enough along to make a decent end product.

Head, weight ranges, average weights and price ranges are exactly as USDA AMS filed them — nothing recomputed, nothing rounded — in USDA's own reporting structure. This is RaisedBeef's rendering of that data, not a copy of USDA's document.
Source: USDA AMS, as filed — nothing recomputed and nothing rounded. This summary aggregates the same sales the Wyoming barn reports cover, so it must never be added to a state total built from those barns.
