Compared to two weeks ago feeder steers and heifers sold 2.00 to 3.00 lower with the exception of a 900 lb heifer which sold steady to 2.00 higher. Demand was good, especially for the preg tested open heifers from producers replacement stock. Few, fly weight calves made there way to town as the pastures are very dry and short. Producers sold calves to help cows try to gain some weight going into fall and winter. Hay prices across the state fully steady. Quite a lot of the hay is staying with in the state. Most of the time the bulk of the hay gets shipped to other states.

Head, weight ranges, average weights and price ranges are exactly as USDA AMS filed them — nothing recomputed, nothing rounded — in USDA's own reporting structure. This is RaisedBeef's rendering of that data, not a copy of USDA's document.
Source: USDA AMS, as filed — nothing recomputed and nothing rounded. This summary aggregates the same sales the Wyoming barn reports cover, so it must never be added to a state total built from those barns.
