Compared to last week steers sold 7.00 to 12.00 lower. Heifers sold steady to 1.00 lower with 600 lbs offerings trading 5.00 lower. Slaughter cows and bulls sold steady to 1.00 higher and bred cows sold unevenly steady. Demand was moderate for calves and feeders with moderate to good demand for bred cows. Receipts this week a tick lighter than early estimates due to snow across a large area of the state and roads were sketchy to transport loads of cattle. Plus, sharp losses across the cattle complex didn't push cattlemen to get out and clean roads or shipping yards to the market place. All bred cows are pre-tested for age, pregnancy and bangs vaccination.
