Compared to last week steer and heifer calves sold steady to 4.00 higher, yearlings not well tested; slaughter and feeder cows 2.00-3.00 lower, slaughter bulls steady. Bred heifers and cows sold steady to firm on comparable sales. Feeder cattle offerings were lighter this preholiday week and included a good supply of weaned calves. Demand was moderate to good. Auctions will be dark for the next couple of weeks. Scheduled sales to start the new decade will be Friday, January 3, 2020, at both Torrington Livestock and Riverton Livestock Auction.
