Compared to last week: Feeder cattle markets were unevenly steady, starting out in the positive but as the week progressed losing momentum with CME cattle futures closing in the red. Demand was moderate to good depending on the quality of the cattle. Lighter summer runs continue, but some ranchers are selling early due to drought conditions.
