Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers sold steady to 6.00 higher, with instances 8.00 higher on 7 weight yearlings. Demand was moderate to good. Big swings in the CME board throughout the trading week caused some wide price spreads on the weekly report. Unweaned and unvaccinated calves getting discounts as we head into Fall with change in temperatures causing sickness. Slaughter cows and bulls were mostly steady.
