Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers traded mostly 3.00 to 7.00 lower. Steer and heifer calves traded mostly 5.00 to 10.00 higher. The CME Feeder Cattle contract closed sharply lower towards the end of last week, but rallied throughout the middle of this week, before opening sharply lower this morning. As a result, early week sales traded lower, with mid week sales showing larger gains. Buyer demand remains very good.
