Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers were unevenly steady. Buyers showed the best interest in long-weaned, preconditioned cattle, especially as health concerns are imminent given the seasonal temperature swings that become the norm this time of year. Slaughter cows and bulls were mostly steady to 3.00 lower with mostly moderate demand.
