Compared to last week, feeder steers were mostly steady to 4.00 lower with some instances of lightweight steers being 4.00-7.00 higher. Feeder heifers were mostly steady to 3.00 lower. Feeder classes were in mostly moderate demand this week, with buyers continuing to show the most interest in preconditioned feeder cattle weaned 45+ days, especially as fall weather quickly approaches and health concerns are imminent. Slaughter cows were mostly 1.00-2.00 lower, and slaughter bulls mostly steady.
