Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers were unevenly steady throughout the week, with instances of 5.00 higher to 5.00 lower. Demand was moderate to good for feeder classes, with the best demand noted for long-weaned, preconditioned cattle. Long-weaned, preconditioned steers and heifers are heavily sought by buyers looking to invest with the least possible risk, as health concerns are common during the current weather conditions with temperature swings, warm days, and cool nights.

Slaughter cows were mostly 3.00-5.00 higher, and slaughter bulls were mostly 4.00-5.00 higher with instances sharply higher.
