Compared to last week, feeder steers were mostly 3.00-7.00 lower and feeder heifers were mostly 2.00-4.00 lower. Demand was light to moderate at best for feeder classes, with long-weaned and preconditioned feeder cattle continuing to be in the best demand. Slaughter cows were mostly 4.00-5.00 lower, and slaughter bulls were steady to 3.00 lower with light to moderate demand and significantly lighter receipts compared to last week’s heavy offerings.
