Compared to last week: Yearling feeder steers and heifers were 2.00 to 8.00, with yearling steers as much as 12.000 higher early in the week on the eastern side of the state. Steer and heifer calves trended steady to 4.00 higher. Wide price spreads and discounts between preconditioned, long time weaned calves with several rounds of shots vs. freshly weaned/unweaned cousins. Good to very good demand for remaining yearling feeders, moderate demand for calves. Slaughter cows sold 8.00 to 10.00 lower, slaughter bulls were 4.00 to 5.00 lower.
