Compared to last week: Feeder steers sold 4.00 higher. Feeder heifers 3.00-5.00 lower, except 600-700 lbs 6.00 higher. Steer calves sold stead to 5.00 higher. Heifer calves under 500 lbs 10.00-20.00 lower; over 500 lbs steady. Demand remained very cautious this week as cattle futures are still trading very erratic and days of sharply lower trading. Numbers somewhat bigger this week as many auctions will be closed next week for Thanksgiving. Some much needed rains moved across the state late in the week bringing also some cooler temperatures. Slaughter cows and bulls sold 1.00-2.00 higher. Demand moderate for packer cows but still good for replacements.
