Compared to last week: Combined weighted average for 7 auctions: Ada, Apache, McAlester, Oklahoma City, OKC West, Tulsa, and Woodward. Feeder steers sold 2.00-8.00 higher. Feeder heifers 3.00-6.00 higher. Steer and heifer calves steady to 5.00 higher on a light test. Demand good for feeder cattle and calves. Very hot weather has moved across the trade region this week bringing temps into the 100s. Some areas can expect to see some rain over the weekend. Combined slaughter cow sales 6 auctions: Ada, Apache, McAlester, Oklahoma City, OKC West, Tulsa. Slaughter cows sold steady to 2.00 lower on a light test. Slaughter bulls steady to 1.00 lower on a light test. Demand was moderate.
