Compared to last week: Combined weighted average for 5 feeder auctions: Ada, McAlester, Oklahoma City, OKC West, Tulsa. Apache and Woodward closed this week for the holiday weekend. Feeder steers sold steady to 4.00 higher. Feeder heifers 3.00-4.00 higher. Steer calves steady to 4.00 higher. Heifer calves steady to 8.00 higher. Demand good for feeder cattle and calves. Hot dry weather has moved into the trade region this week causing some areas to experience drought conditions. Combined slaughter cow sales 6 auctions: Ada, McAlester, Oklahoma City, OKC West, Tulsa, and Woodward. Slaughter cows sold steady to 3.00 lower. Slaughter bulls 1.00-3.00 higher. Demand was moderate to good.
